Performance, Style and Comfort for Today’s Sportbike Rider

The highly respected and capable Kawasaki Ninja® 300 ABS motorcycle returns for 2016 as the ideal lightweight sportbike for novice riders, track-day enthusiasts, commuters and riders of various sizes.

The heart of the Ninja 300 motorcycle is its liquid-cooled 296cc parallel-twin engine, which is tuned to deliver strong low- and mid-range torque for crisp throttle response, as well as excellent high-RPM power on the open road. Much of its prowess can be attributed to its advanced Digital Fuel Injection (DFI®), which helps manage cold starting while providing excellent throttle response and great fuel efficiency.

Not only is the Ninja 300 motorcycle regarded as the best lightweight sportbike in the category, it is more than capable of surprising competitors with higher displacement in tight, technical corners.

To assist newer riders, the six-speed sequential transmission features the Kawasaki positive neutral finder, making it a cinch to select neutral when stopped. A premium FCC clutch with assist and slipper functions reduces lever effort by up to 25% to reduce fatigue and its race-style “slipper” function to reduce rear-wheel “hop” that can be associated with high-RPM downshifting. These features provide the rider with greater control on the street or track.

The suspension was tuned to complement the rigid frame, so the spring rates provide a comfortable ride on city streets without compromising its sportbike handling that confirms it is a true Ninja motorcycle.

A combination of digital and analog instruments feature a large, easy-to-read tachometer coupled with a multi-function LCD display including a speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge and digital clock. The digital screen also incorporates an Economical Riding Indicator (ECO) to alert the rider when they are operating the Ninja 300 motorcycle in a style that maximizes fuel economy.

The natural riding position of the Ninja 300 motorcycle includes comfortable ergonomics, lightweight handling and nimble responses combine to deliver a pleasurable ride on city streets, highways, twisty backroads and racetracks.

There are three models in the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle family. These include the standard (non-ABS) model, which is available in two colors: Metallic Matte Carbon Grey or Passion Red. The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle comes in the same choice of paint colors. Then there is the Ninja 300 KRT motorcycle, which are available in a striking combination of Lime Green and Ebony, inspired by the Kawasaki Racing Team in World Superbike Championship racing.

Fuel injection

Fine-atomising injectors with a droplet size of only 60 µm contribute to combustion efficiency. New injector bodies are more compact.

Modern Instrumentation

Sporty new instrument panel design contributes to the advanced-technology and high-quality image of the Ninja series. Multi-function LCD screen functions include: speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, dual trip meters, odometer and ECO Economical Riding indicator. White LED backlighting ensures clear meter visibility at night.

Radiator Fan Cover

The new fan cover located behind the radiator directs hot air down and away from the rider, significantly increasing comfort when stuck in heavy traffic. Redirecting the air also helps keep the tank, frame and other parts that contact the rider cooler, further increasing rider comfort.

ACCESSORIES

A full range of Kawasaki Genuine Accessories are available at authorized Kawasaki dealers. For the different models, these can include different seats, seat cowl, frame sliders, tank bag and tail bag. Please visit your local Kawasaki dealership for more information.
