Originally released in 1993, it will be in theaters nationwide starting Friday, October 20, and will be in theaters until the 30th. It's coming back to theaters as a part of their 30th-anniversary celebration, as well as coming out with new merchandise for fans.

"Their biggest fear, and why it was kind of a stepchild project, [was] they were afraid of their core audience hating the film and not coming." To convey Burton's involvement and attract a wider audience, Disney marketed the film as Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

With the smaller format, if a movie wasn't filmed with IMAX cameras, RPX is going to be better. IMAX is not capable of 7.1 sound, considering the only surround speakers are in the back corner. Screen size difference is only one foot. Also, the "liemax" thing is not accurate.
