How many 997.2 GT3 RS were made? ›

The 997.1 had regular bolt, whereas Porsche introduced center lock wheels for the 997.2 GT3. These have since become a trademark for all 911 GT3s and later GTS models. Also for the 997.2 GT3 RS, the front wheels were widened slightly to 9 inches in contrast to the standard 8.5 inches.

Only 2,256 units were produced, of which the number of Clubsport variants was significantly lower.
